Bethany's List of Things Not to Do

Today I realized that my mental list of "Things not to do" needed to be revised and extended. For the sake of my readers(all 5 of you), and for the sake of comedic education, I will post my list here.

Things Not to Do

1. Leaving your phone number for the cute waiter-this is more embarrassing than helpful because they never call, and whomever you were with when you left it will ask you for at least a week if "that guy from the restaurant" ever called you.
2. NEVER, NEVER call any guy who uses the tubes at the bank drive-up to give you his number-this one should be obvious.
3. Paying for weight loss- it's YOUR fat! Maybe someone should pay you to lose it.
4. Falling for a guy you can't have and a city you'll never live in at the same time-OUCH!! Double whammy!!
5. Let old guys take you for a ride in thier midlife-crisis corvette -let me just say that this leads to all kinds of trouble 'nuf said.
6. Get involved with guys whose names start with the letter "J" -I am planning an entire post dedicated to this one alone-coming soon.
7. Going on a blind date with a guy who won't tell you his REAL first name- there is a reason he is not telling you, and you probably don't want to know what it is. In my case his real name was Courtney.
8. Believing someone you meet online when they tell you communicating with them will be "the best decision you ever made"-he is lying to you.

So there you have it. Please note that this is a list of things that I have personally found to be detrimental to my own state of sanity. This is not a list for everyone to follow, otherwise there would be an overflow of men named Jeremy who would never get dates, and that wouldn't be fair.
